Blue Arrow Forge

I began making knives in a small shop in Colorado, in 2009, called Blue Arrow Forge. It wasn’t much of a shop, just a dirt floor shed with a forge, anvil, and small grinder. I made simple knives for hunting and cooking, as well as hooks, hangers, and other bits of ironwork. It wasn’t much, but it laid the groundwork for what would become Billipp Knives.

After 15 years of professional bladesmithing, I’m happy to offer a new line of knives named in honor of that humble shop on the edge of the plains. Hand forged from 52100 high carbon steel, and fitted with shapely handles of locally sourced hardwood, these knives will be available at an affordable price and in a variety of styles to fit the needs of home cooks and professional chefs alike.
